Why we developed SmartCrossword.com

SmartCrossword.com is an outgrowth of the Love and Learning technique which was originally developed for our daughter with special needs to help her with language and reading skills. Our video tapes, audio tapes and books were so beneficial to Maria that we subsequently made them available to other parents and support services. We also found that crossword puzzles were a great way to reinforce and build upon her reading skills. We modified the conventional crossword puzzle concept by providing a word list. This word list changes the crossword puzzle into an excellent teaching tool. Future puzzles will cover a wide range of topics.
